What is Art Therapy?

Welcome! Here at The Nest, we offer one-to-one Art Therapy for children and young people (aged 4-16) who have been exposed to domestic abuse or sexual violence. 

Art Therapy is a type of Psychotherapy, using art materials as tools of communication and creativity as a form of expression.

What happens in a session?

If you come to The Nest, you will have one hour each week with our Art Therapist. There will be lots of materials to choose from and you can choose how to use your time. Some things you might want to try are…
