In Touch Youth Club is EdShift’s Tier 1, light-touch space for young people to stay connected and feel part of The YouthBase community.

It runs on the first Thursday of every month, 3.15pm–5.15pm, at The YouthBase.

What is In Touch Youth Club

In Touch Youth Club is a relaxed monthly youth club for young people who would benefit from informal support, peer connection, creativity, and trusted adults.

Young people can join in as much or as little as feels right. They can take part in activities, chat with friends, listen to music, enjoy snacks and drinks, or simply spend time in the space.

In Touch Youth Club is built around co-production. Young people help shape what happens at The YouthBase, from activities and resources to creative projects and opportunities. Their ideas can influence the building, the programme, and the wider EdShift community.

In Touch is for young people aged 8+ who would benefit from light-touch support, peer connection, and a familiar place to return to. It may be especially helpful for those waiting for support, stepping down from more structured support, or wanting to stay connected with EdShift and their peers.

Information for Parents and Carers

In Touch Youth Club runs on the first Thursday of every month, 3.15pm–5.15pm, at EdShift @ The YouthBase. No referral is needed, but places should be booked in advance.

Parents and carers are welcome to relax in the waiting area during the session, have a chat and make a brew, or drop off and collect their child.
